After we married in 2009 and welcomed our son C.J., I became a stay-at-home dad in 2012, assisting Betty with her veterinary practice. Over the years, I witnessed the deep love pet owners have for their companions, and I found it moving to hear their stories during difficult moments like euthanasia. In 2017, I met Mike from Guardian Angels, who expressed a need for custom earrings made from pets' cremains. Though this wasn’t aligned with my woodworking passion, I saw it as a way to support my wife’s business and continue being a stay-at-home dad. I gathered supplies and merged my creative skills to design unique wood rings, titanium channel rings, earrings, keychains, and pendants made with cremation ashes combined with opal or mother of pearl. My goal is to provide cherished, one-of-a-kind keepsakes that allow someone to carry a piece of their loved one with them.
